Company Profile

A global enterprise SaaS company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Japan finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting statutory and group reporting requirements, while contributing to strategic financial operations.

The Role

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with JGAAP and global accounting standards
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under the Companies Act
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Support earnings release reports, securities reports, or Section I of IPO registration statements
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function

Your Skills

• JGAAP statutory financial reporting under the Companies Act
• Preparation of earnings release reports
• Securities report filings
• Section I of IPO registration statements
• Strong understanding of Japanese accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience in a multinational environment or with listed companies preferred
• Business-level English and Native Japanese
