Job Description

Position: Accounts Receivable Manager Classification: Exempt Position Summary and Responsibilities The Accounts Receivable Manager will join the Accounts Receivable Team at Mavis and play a critical role in the operations of the department. In this role, the AR Manager will ensure that the AR Team operates efficiently by managing workloads, reviewing and implementing process improvements and overseeing all day-to-day functions of the AR Team. This position will require strong analytic skills to ensure that invoices and reporting are accurate, payments are timely, and customers are supported with excellent customer service. Essential Functions of the Position The tasks of the Accounts Receivable Manager include, but are not limited to: Managing the Accounts Receivable life cycle, including Invoicing, Cash Application and Collections Overseeing team of 2+ Accounts Receivable Specialists in daily, weekly and monthly tasks Preparing, reviewing and analyzing AR Aging to identify trends, discrepancies, delinquencies and action such items accordingly Monitor and maintain Customer Account data to ensure accurate and informative details throughout Provide and present weekly, and monthly reporting across internal departments to ensure transparency Serving as an escalation point for investigating and resolving customer inquiries and disputes Managing Tenant Rental/Lease obligations, where applicable Working directly with Director of Accounts Receivable to build and continuously improve AR processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy Ensuring team deadlines are met and tasks are completed in their entirety Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Accounts Receivable Manager, an individual must: Have 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is preferred Be proficient in Microsoft Excel Have experience leading a team Have strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organization, negotiation and problem-solving skills Display a motivated, upbeat attitude and the ability to work well with others Employee Benefits At Mavis, we understand that our people drive our success.
