Job Description

A globally recognized luxury brand is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to grow in a supportive, international environment with flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
Support daily accounting operations including AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with local and global standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, tax, and operations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial data and reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile
2-3 years of accounting experience (retail or consumer goods industry a plus)
Strong understanding of Japanese GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP is a plus
Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred
Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
