Job Description

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving business performance by analyzing data, optimizing processes, and enabling smarter decision-making across both operations and sales. This role provides leadership with actionable insights to support strategic planning. Acting as a bridge between departments, the Business Analyst captures business and technical requirements, translates complex information, and incorporates into practical solutions that improve efficiency, customer experience, and overall business outcomes.

This is an onsite position, requiring close collaboration with multiple teams and access to sensitive company data.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data across sales, marketing, operations, finance, QC and HR.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track KPIs and business performance.
  • Deliver clear insights and recommendations that inform executive and operational decisions.

Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and map end-to-end business processes across departments.
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Systems & Tools Management

  • Maintain and optimize core business systems (CRM, ERP, BI platforms).
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to assess, implement, and support new technologies that improve efficiency.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting

  • Provides insights into market conditions and opportunities.
  • Monitor sales pipeline health, resource allocation, and operational capacity.
  • Support budgeting, quota setting, and headcount planning activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, operations, finance, QC and HR to align goals.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for systems and reporting.
  • Support adoption of new processes, tools, and change management initiatives.
  • Communicate status on all initiatives to key stakeholders. Schedule, plan and lead strategic initiatives and create presentations of key findings to establish action plans.

Training & Support

  • Provide training and documentation on tools, reports, and processes.
  • Assist end-users with data, reporting, and process-related issues.
  • Promote consistent, data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in business, analytics, information systems, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data modeling and reporting.
  • Computer literate, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems (NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with SQL is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to document business processes.
  • Effectively manage change throughout the organization that is required to achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Bilingual. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to manage sensitive and confidential data with discretion.
  • Deep understanding of financial, accounting, and general business principles.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
