Your new role
You will play a pivotal role in budget planning and finance partnering, shaping the financial future of our divisions. Take charge of impactful projects and bring your analytical skills to life through deep financial reviews and strategic insights. 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Budget planning for Anchor Budget (AB) and Rolling Estimates (RE).
• Finance partnering for divisions by supporting budget planning, tracking, and decision making.
• Prepare analysis, commentary and presentation material for financial reviews and reports.
• Lead projects in Finance or participate as a key member in cross-divisional projects.
• Ad-hoc analysis tasks and project management as needed.

Your new department
You will be a part of our Finance department in our Finance & Operations division. The FP&A group is covering all our Therapeutic Areas and as a Controller, you will drive financial planning and analysis at Novo Nordisk in Japan as well as support management to make sound decisions by providing data and insights. In addition, as a member of the Regional Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) team, you will act as a liaison between Region Japan and International Operations located in Zurich and occasionally other countries as well. Your geographic responsibility will be Japan.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a seasoned FP&A/Controller professional with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills who will thrive in working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You will bring with you:

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 2 years of experience in business planning and/or controlling or other relevant strategic finance-related experience.
• CPA certificate strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate and influence stakeholders across the organization and constructively challenge status quo.
• Fluent Japanese with strong business English proficiency required.
