Event Planner The Royal Hotel Chilliwack Location 45886 Wellington Ave Chilliwack, BC Salary 30.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Full time Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Bachelor's degree Experience 2 years to less than 3 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Willing to relocate Responsibilities: Promote conference and meeting services or special events Inspect and select sites Develop marketing and communication plans Develop media strategies and public relations activities Prepare, present and manage budgets Review bids and negotiate costs Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details Co-ordinate media services Co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events Confirm and co-ordinate speakers Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services Research and design special events programs Manage Event Logistics Supervision 3-4 people Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge MS Excel MS Office MS Outlook MS PowerPoint Area of work experience Business Conference centres Hotel, motel, resort Resort Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Work under pressure Tight deadlines Personal suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Organized Time management Until: 2025-07-18
