Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Pay : 70-80k

Reports To: Sr. Manager, Appliance Delivery Operations

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations in Quebec City. This includes managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient receiving, staging, and dispatch of appliances and bulky goods. The role supports six-day operations and works closely with delivery teams and logistics partners to drive timely shipments and outstanding customer service. The Warehouse Manager will also back up the Dispatcher/Customer Care team and help develop SOPs, monitor KPIs, and maintain safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse activities, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of deliveries.
• Maintain 99% inventory accuracy through cycle counts, WMS tracking, and proper logging of returns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse; conduct audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and third-party logistics partners to optimize truck loading and efficiency.
• Communicate proactively with drivers and customers, resolving issues and reporting updates.
• Serve as backup for Dispatcher/Customer Care when required.
• Develop and refine SOPs to improve space utilization, reduce product damage, and increase operational efficiency.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and conduct random audits to ensure compliance.
• Oversee proper handling, loading, and unloading of appliances and bulky items, including use of blankets, straps, dollies, and wraps.
• Manage documentation for returns, undeliverable items, and freight claims; ensure compliance with hazardous waste regulations.
• Assist with truck inspections and maintenance reporting.
• Uphold company standards for professional conduct and appearance.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of warehouse operations experience, with 1–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role; appliance or heavy goods experience is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety procedures.
• Experience managing and operating warehouse equipment; forklift certification preferred.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual (English/French) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and WMS systems; familiarity with appliance handling techniques preferred.
• Commitment to enforcing SOPs, maintaining safety, and driving continuous improvement.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse-based role involving physical and administrative tasks.
• Must be able to lift heavy items, operate material handling equipment, and work in varying indoor temperatures.
• Desk-based responsibilities for reporting, documentation, and communication.
• May require extended hours or rotational shifts during peak periods.
