Intermediate to Senior Staff Accountant Location Oakville, ON :

We are on the lookout for resourceful intermediate to senior level Staff Accountants to join our all-star team. Total positions open: 2-3, salary will be dependent upon a candidates level of experience.

RPN and its affiliates provide a broad range of accounting, taxation and assurance services. Our Business Services also include developing business plans, incorporating new business entities, succession planning, and joint venture structuring and financing. While accurate financial records are essential for a company to meet tax filing requirements, they are equally important as a management tool. We provide corporate accounting services through our affiliate company CCFS Accounting Services. We specialize in small and medium-sized companies. Our services are designed to assist businesses through sound planning, financial and quality, management systems.

The job duties would include:

• Work with the Assurance team to Complete audits and reviews
• Prepare and maintain payroll and related government remittances/filings, recording of sales, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions
• Prepare Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) returns, financial statements and personal and corporate tax returns
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Preparation of T4 and T5 Slips
• Preparation of Personal tax returns
• Preparation of Corporate tax returns
• Filing of documents in an electronic database
• Any working knowledge of Caseware, Jazzit, Profile, and Quickbooks is an asset
• The candidate should ideally have working knowledge in accounting and 2 - 3 years of experience at least.
• Completion of bookkeeping for clients
• Assistance with documentation related to financial planning
• Traveling around the GTA to various clients may also be a requirement.
• Any experience at a CPA firm will be considered an asset for this position.
• CPA candidates that finished their exams preferred.

Salary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year commensurate with experience
