POSITION DETAILS

This is a short-term, part-time position ideal for working holiday visa holders, permanent residents seeking additional work, or students looking to supplement their income. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role due to the limited hours.

• The work days are Monday and Friday.
• The daily work schedule is 4 hours per day (8 hours per week).
  • Ideally, these hours will be in the afternoon, but there is some flexibility for the right candidate.

The classes include:

• One 90-minute class for K3 students (5-6 years old)
• One 60-minute class for K2 students (4-5 years old)
• Up to fourteen children per class.
• Outside of class time, the teacher will have prep time.

LOCATION

There is one school on this schedule at the following locations:

• Ontakesan on the Tokyu Ikegami Line

START DATE

• The start date for this position is November 3rd, 2025th.

TRAINING

• Initial training will be on-the-job (fully paid).
• Support and training days will also be provided throughout the year.

COMPENSATION

• The wage will be 60,000 per month
• Transportation will be reimbursed up to ¥15,000 per month.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• We will screen resumes to check that the minimum requirements are met.
• Candidates will be contacted to arrange online interviews.
• Following the first round of interviews, candidates will be short-listed for a second round of interviews, which may include a trial lesson.
• Candidates will be asked to bring their residence cards, passports, copies of qualifications, and letters of reference when attending the trial lesson.
• At the completion of the second round of interviews, a decision will be made.
• Once that final decision has been made, we will contact all second-round candidates to inform them of the decision.
• The successful candidate will then meet with us again to sign employment documentation.
