Oxford Learning Oakville North is currently seeking part-time teacher/tutors for a role in our learning centre. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys numbers and equations, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.
Our centre has grown rapidly and we are seeking exceptional teachers for our high school students. An ideal candidate for this position will possess a passion for education and teaching, attention to detail, availability at least 2 evenings/week, a comprehensive understanding of high school math (Functions, Calculus and Physics), and experience working with children.
This is a FANTASTIC job for university students or recent university/teacher graduates; it looks great on your resume, will help you hone your teaching skills, and will expose you to a beautiful variety of students and teaching styles!
Typically, we prefer OCT-certified teachers, but will consider superb undergraduate candidates! Below is a detailed outline of this position and its expectations. Please review this information carefully before applying.
Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.
Position Requirements
All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours (approx 3:00pm - 8:00pm) as well as Saturdays (9:00am - 1:00pm).
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not offered. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
