Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Product Strategy and Operations Manager.Candidates should be advised this role is not aligned with Holman's Information Technology Team.Primary Tasks:Evaluating products for suitability, industry positioning and SWOTAnalyzing ROI calculations for projects with a key focus on creating operational efficiencies.Actively monitoring product performance on the market to meet expectations.Proactively evaluating new markets for existing products and new product opportunities.Consulting with all levels of leadership to create, develop, and confirm objectives, operational procedures and system/program constraints. Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with all levels of personnel.Communicating with all levels of the business as required to ensure expected timelines are met and any necessary updates are communicated to managementPerform all other duties and special projects as assignedWhat are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experienceAdditional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plusProject Management certification a plusProficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)3-5+ years' experience, including 2+ at a leadership levelBreadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departmentsDeveloping and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracyBreadth and depth of experience in product development and/or product managementManages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobsEnsures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgetsExtensive knowledge of department processesWorks with other leaders to develop a common departmental vision or strategyAdapts area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challengesIdentifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problemsAdjusts quickly to new or changing work environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong supervisory and leadership skillsApplies management expertise to set direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to employees in own area of responsibility or departmentManages team projects and project plans through executionInfluences or provides input to forecasting and planning resources; may manage allocated budgetDecisions are guided by policies, procedures and department or business plan; receives guidance from managerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, counseling, negotiation, and customer service skillsAnticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutionsStrong presentation skillsEffectively coaches, gives performance feedback and provides development opportunities within own area of responsibility or departmentInteraction with others requires understanding, influencing and supporting people, through applying technical knowledge or rational arguments, aimed at causing action or acceptance by others#LI-BW1#LI-HYBRIDINDMISCAt Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
