Project Manager – SAP Employee Central Implementation (Hybrid)

Location: Greater Toronto Area – Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP Employee Central (EC) as part of a large-scale HR transformation initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all project activities from inception to completion, ensuring seamless collaboration between vendor partners, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.

This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with demonstrated success in managing enterprise-level HRIS implementations and driving project delivery in complex, hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Employee Central , overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, defining deliverables, milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with vendor partners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Drive project execution, risk management, and issue resolution to maintain progress toward established goals.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Oversee testing, validation, and change management activities to ensure a smooth go-live transition.
• Monitor project performance, prepare regular reports, and provide strategic updates to senior leadership.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience as a Project Manager leading SAP Employee Central (EC) implementations – this is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong understanding of HR systems, data integrations, and HR process optimization.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with external vendors and managing multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a hybrid setting (onsite and remote).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is considered an asset.
