We are one of the business units of CCL Industries, Inc. (headquartered in Canada), the only comprehensive RF and RFID (radio frequency identification) solution provider for the retail industry.
RFID is "a technology that uses radio waves to read the information of tagged items without contact," and is used to automate checkout and inventory management.

In Japan, we mainly provide security gates and shoplifting prevention tags to apparel stores, supermarkets, electronics retailers, and drugstores.

We are now looking for an RFID Technical Specialist.

Main Responsibilities

• Primary tasks will be the following:
• Support important RFID Instore projects
• Test RFID solutions for customer projects or customer RFP
• Visiting customers directly in order to explain all details of our solutions from a technical point of view, understanding our customer needs and translating them into customized solutions.
• Training technicians on RFID solutions (new antennas and solutions, processes…), in cooperation with local FS teams.
• Preparing technical documentation to support new RFID solutions and projects
• Preparing technical documentation (e.g in case of tenders), PP presentations and report.
• Support directly in the Country when the situation requires.
• Collaborating with R&D for the optimal system in terms of Performance, Install ability, Configuration, and testing
• Collaborating with our Global Product management team in case of technical issues on our solutions

department

Full-time employee or contract employee
Probationary period
3 months (no change in salary during the probationary period)

Salary range
6-7 million yen per year

Other bonus plans(Full-time employees only)
Goal management achievement bonus (linked to performance)
Target: 10% of annual salary

Work location
Shiba-Daimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan

Work system
Hybrid work, flextime available

Working Hours and Holidays
Full five-day workweek (Monday to Friday)
Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays off

スキル・資格

Education & Skill/ Experience

• University graduate or above in electronics/electrical engineering or information engineering
• 3+ years of industry experience in RFID or IoT device sales
• 3+ years of experience installing RFID or IoT devices
• Experience in project management or as a project member
• Communication skills (with customers, business partners, within the company)
• Cooperation to work in a team with related departments
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD
• Japanese: Business level, Speaking appropriately to customers and business partners
• English: Business level
