Registered Nurse Private In-Home Care - Days/Evenings/Some Weekends

RN Services Private Duty Care - St. Louis, MO
$28-$34 an hour - Part Time

RN Services Private Duty Care is a locally owned and managed company in the St Louis area for over 28 years. We are currently hiring compassionate, dependable, team-oriented individuals. We staff one-on-one with our clients. Each client is assigned an Case Manager.


Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and is currently licensed as an RN in the state of Missouri with working knowledge of professional standards and principles.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience, preferably with hospital/geriatric experience.
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record.
• Vehicle that is insured in accordance with state and RN Services' policy.
• Cellphone with internet/texting capabilities and cell phone skills.
• Daily access to RN Services' email.
• Complete all physical and mental demands for position. Moderate lifting, standing, walking, moving throughout shift.
• CPR certified or certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Covid vaccination preferred.
• Work with pets when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care agreed upon by client/family/physician and RN Case Manager
• Assist with ADL's. Monitoring Alzheimer's and Dementia Clients. Clients with mobility assistance including transferring, positioning, lifting. Bathing, toileting, med management, vital signs, home tasks and documentation.
• Complies with RN Services' policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPPA policy, dress code, some weekend availability and some paid on-call availability.
• Responsible for working all assigned shifts-finding replacement when needed.
• Possess ingenuity to handle medical and situational emergencies
• Potential to move to RN Case Manager
• Some on call shifts may be required
