As a security professional with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring and managing entry points to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related issues.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, based on site requirements and protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff regarding security-related matters.
  • Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
