Job Description

About the Role:

• A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join its Accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of financial disclosures across global markets. Ideal candidates will bring a strong technical accounting background, experience in audit or consulting, and the ability to operate fluently in both Japanese and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review statutory and consolidated financial reports in accordance with J-GAAP and IFRS.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Support global reporting initiatives and contribute to process improvements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on financial reporting.
• Act as a key liaison between Japan and global finance teams.

Qualifications:

• JCPA qualification strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in Big 4 audit or consulting firms.
• Deep understanding of J-GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
