The Senior Health Research and Evaluation Manager provides guidance and consultation in evaluating program design and delivery of health services and provides support in research activities and research capacity development. The Senior Manager employs a mixture of Indigenous and Western methods for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting outcome measures and research data. The Senior Manager creates and implements a Métis evaluation framework, reviews related research, links evidence to the evaluation process; reviews and assesses the impact on services and staff resources; prepares reports and provides evidence-based recommendations for MNBC program and service delivery models. The Senior Manager creates and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners, participates in internal and external working groups supporting research and evaluation methodologies for cultural safety and humility, and leads projects as a result of attendance. The Senior Manager also prepares research grant applications for approval and manages designated research project activities, budgets, and resources, including subsequent knowledge translation activities. Key interactions in addition to internal organizational contacts include health authorities, Ministry of Health and occasionally MNBC Citizens.
