Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a HVAC company in Hayward, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving tasks, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring accurate and safe shipments. This role is essential to the efficient functioning of the warehouse and requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Fulfill customer orders and maintain product inventory levels.
• Prepare, package, and ship items safely and securely.
• Ensure goods are packaged to minimize risk of damages.
• Maintain ingoing and outgoing shipments and prepare shipping labels.
• Responsible for loading and unloading shipments.
• Verify shipment contents are accurate and undamaged.
• Work closely with other shipping clerks.
• Communicate and collaborate with Purchasing agents and Inside Sales Representatives.
• Maintain clean and safe shipping and receiving docks.
• Maintain security of warehouse logistics and safety of all associates and equipment, following accident reporting guidelines and conveying issues to management.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Data entry on a PC.
• Knowledge of the safety, legal, and handling procedures of products.
• HVAC background is preferred.

Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

The position offers competitive pay with a range of $24 to $27 per hour.
