Role Summary The Audio Group at Rivian is responsible for in-vehicle acoustics, media and infotainment playback, audio hardware design and much more. We have a deep passion for audio and how things sound. We are looking for someone to design and implement automated testing of our audio software and hardware. Responsibilities Build test DSP framework for audio experiences Build DSP algorithms like noise suppression Evaluate new DSP platforms for given workloads Optimize algorithm implementation Implement algorithms on target DSP Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science, EEE or related program 4+ years of MATLAB and/or Python programming C or C++ Experience with audio DSPs - Sharc, HiFi, Hexagon Experience with audioweaver or similar DSP frameworks Experience with version control systems (git, etc) Experience with build systems and artifact repositories (Scons, Bazel, JFrog Artifactory) Experience with software and infrastructure automation Enthusiastic self-starter Good communication and documentation Nice to have: Automotive experience Critical listening skills Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Bay Area Based Applicants: $157,000 - $181,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law) Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26 Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
