Role: Cost Accountant

Duration: Permanent

Location: Mississauga, ON

Working model: Hybrid, 3 Days in Office

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 + Benefits & 3 Weeks Vacation

Your New Role

• Calculate annual labour and overhead rates to support cost planning
• Conduct activity-based costing and analyze contract margins
• Investigate freight costs and review markup structures
• Manage rebate processes and coordinate with vendors
• Perform general ledger account analysis and assist with financial reporting
• Ensure adherence to health & safety, GMP, and HACCP standard

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management
• Clear and professional communication across all levels
• CPA designation is an asset, but not mandatory
• Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred
