THE POSITION AND JOB DUTIES: DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY – NATIONAL (NOC 10029)

This is a client facing role, reporting to the VP and local regional leaders to lead by example and execute on our account growth management strategy to achieve revenue targets for our IT contracting and perm businesses on a national level. As a people leader, you will undertake development and coaching of an independent team, demonstrating their ability to replicate and undertake professional and client expansion activities. Overall objectives will include to grow revenue and contractor headcount; management of an agreed portfolio of clients, responsible for ensuring effective service delivery through collaboration with appropriate functional areas to meet or exceed revenue, productivity and activity targets; development of strong and progressive client relationships to maximize and expand opportunities across all lines of business; develop and coach reports to meet or exceed activity targets, operationalized through business development calls and meetings with clear target clients and contacts.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years' experience working in a recruitment agency environment as an Account Manager or 360 Consultant, required
  • Must have experience in IT recruitment and understanding of IT industry
  • Must have sales, cold calling, or business development experience
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring of new and experienced recruitment consultants and account managers, required
  • Must have experience working with customers - either face to face or over the phone
  • Must have strong team-oriented working style
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities, required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, required
  • Tenacious, determined to achieve success, proactive
  • Take full responsibility for all performance, productivity and growth initiatives
  • Places a high value on building strong relationships grounded in respect of individual differences, role model appropriate levels of honesty and inclusivity
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

WAGE AND COMPENSATION

At Hays, we offer a dynamic and high-performing work environment where our uncapped commission structure surpasses industry standards. We are committed to recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of our employees. The compensation for this role consists of a base salary of $113,000.00 CAD, plus significant commissions for high performers. The overall compensation may be up to or around $175,000.00 CAD.
