Overview We are seeking Chinese Language Teachers to join our newly set up Chinese Tuition Center for Primary School students. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Generous vacation arrangements (e.g., Chinese New Year period, June or December breaks) Professional development opportunities & support Supportive, collaborative, friendly work culture Opportunity to make an impact in a new organisation with ambitions to expand Key Responsibilities Prepare, and deliver high-quality Chinese language lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus for Primary Schools Use fun, engaging and interactive teaching methods (games, multimedia, group work, etc.) to motivate students and deepen understanding Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and learning styles Monitor, assess student progress; provide constructive feedback; assign homework and conduct periodic tests/exams Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, issues, and celebrate achievements Create a classroom environment that is nurturing, safe, respectful, and conducive to learning Collaborate with other teachers and administrative staff to plan curriculum and share best practices Requirements Experienced in teaching Chinese Language using the MOE syllabus Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language / Chinese Studies / Education or related field; teacher-training qualification desirable Strong proficiency in Mandarin: speaking, reading, writing Excellent classroom management skills; caring, patient, supportive attitude toward students Ability to communicate effectively with parents Creative, energetic, able to make lessons fun & engaging Passion for student growth, willingness to go the extra mile Location beside MRT Downtown Line/Circle Line/Bt Timah Able to work weekday evenings and weekends
