MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a
Finance Project Manager for a 6 month contract role at a client of ours located in Vancouver Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA an asset)
- PMP or equivalent project management experience preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, with significant exposure to financial and contract-focused initiatives
- Experience in the contact centre or services industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with executive stakeholders and deliver results in high-stakes, fast-paced environments
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives, ideally within finance, services transformation, or commercialization of new offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to bring services to market, including service definition, identification of cost drivers, and development of pricing strategies and models that are practical, understandable, and risk-aware.
- Skilled at working with Finance and SMEs to translate conceptual financial models into clear, actionable pricing and service structures that align with organizational needs.
- Strong track record of working with Finance, Legal, Operations, and SMEs to integrate diverse perspectives and deliver outcomes that balance financial, operational, and organizational needs.
- Ability to assess current-state pricing and financial models, identify gaps, and recommend pragmatic, sustainable improvements, including transitioning from legacy models to new approaches.
- Exceptional skills in presenting findings, influencing senior leaders, and building consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable driving transformation in complex environments, ensuring new pricing and financial models are understood, adopted, and sustained by internal and external stakeholders (including contract partners/clients)
