Job Summary

The Whistler Heli Team is comprised of individuals who thrive in the outdoors, love the mountains, and are passionate about what they do. We are looking for team members who share the same passion for skiing or riding and have always dreamed of Heli-Skiing.  We are a fun, exciting team delivering an exceptional once in a lifetime activity in Whistler.

Job Specifications:   

• Starting Wage: $20.80/hr - $25.30/hr  

• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026  

• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available 

• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  

• Housing Availability: Yes 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Meets and greets our guests in a friendly and professional manner 

• Conducts training for our guests to industry standards: transceiver orientation; 

• Helicopter orientation; field procedures. 

• Drives passengers to various locations in commercial vans and buses. 

• Delivers a backcountry skiing product 

• Guides clients away from mountain and helicopter hazards. 

• While client expectations can’t always be met, ensure that client’s experiences are satisfying. 

• Insures guiding is considerate to other groups to maintain a good pace during the day. 

• Maintains a state of readiness to respond to field emergencies. 

• Analyses the snowpack for instabilities and gathers and shares field observations. 

• Coordinates lunch for our clients. Participates in mid-day meetings. 

• Records and communicates extra runs skied 

• Communicates customer service issues with the store staff when required. 

• Attends company meetings as required 

Job Requirments: 

• Excellent powder skiing ability 

• Assistant Guide – CSGA Level 2 or ACMG Apprentice 

• Meet’s CPD requirements as per guiding certification 

• 80 hour first aid certification 

• AED Certification 

• Proof of clear criminal record check 

• Current BC Class 4 DL recommended. Clean driving record.
