Mantecon Partners is an agile, full-service engineering firm specializing in structural, mechanical, process, electrical, and civil engineering. Our Team are passionate, innovative, and engaged professionals who take pride in working on engineering projects across the province.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you are highly organized and detail oriented. This position is fulltime and located in the Toronto area. You will have the opportunity to get exposure to various stages of design and construction of manufacturing and light industrial process plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with project manager and engineers on various design projects
• Work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to produce fully integrated designs
• Design of new manufacturing process systems or modification of existing systems such as ingredient handling, tempering and baking, cooling, packaging, power distribution, utilities and more
• AutoCAD design work
• Revit design work
• Attend construction sites for field reviews and document the site with photos, notes, and field review reports.
• Learn something new every day

REQUIREMENTS

• 4-8 years of experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario (P.Eng.)
• AutoCAD and or Revit skills and the ability to follow CAD standards
• Good communication skills
• Quick learner, curious attitude, and willingness to accept coaching and feedback.
• Ability to read P&IDs and construction drawings
• Food manufacturing experience (Preferred)
• Organized and can adhere to set standards for design and filing of documents and quality checking of work.
• Valid driver’s license (Preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP designation or working toward PMP (or equivalent experience) is considered an asset.
• P.Eng. designation is considered an asset.
• 3–6 years of experience in project management within engineering, construction, or consulting sectors.
• Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods packaging equipment and systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and relevant technical standards is an asset.
• Experience with AutoCAD is an asset.
