The Opportunity

The Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining current dashboards and assisting the development of new dashboards, charts, and visual aids to analyze data and enable decision making. This includes data profiling and analysis, data cleansing and quality review, and the development of ETL packages for Data transformation, where required. In this role, the data analyst will work on a small team alongside a data engineer and senior data analyst to help build out a new Data Analytics framework at Farm Mutual Re.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Assist in preparing and delivering current annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly reports for internal and external partners
• Maintain and update data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision making
• Analyze data to answer key questions from business partners, growing and building an understanding of what drives business performance
• Support the creation of templates and documentation, including a data dictionary and data catalogue, and other templates as required to help build out a new Data Analytics framework

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related field
• You have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst experience with a foundation in data modelling & analytics
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, PowerBI and Tableau
• Some experience with data languages such as SQL, Python, R and Excel
• Analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, analyze, and present datasets
• Proven data analytic skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
