Annual Salary: 5 Million and above

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the following:

  • Define server hardware specifications and research new technologies.
  • Perform server hardware and component evaluation (BMC, network, storage, and CPU).
  • Support production server hardware deployment.
  • Support production server hardware handover to the operations team.
  • Support production server hardware operation.
  • Handle server hardware-related issue investigation, identify root causes, apply preventive actions, and support replacement and repair if individual failures occur.
  • Communicate with vendors in the areas mentioned above.

Job Qualifications:

•  
• Knowledge in server and component design, and 5+ years of experience in that area.
• Additionally, at least one of the following experiences or skills:
• Knowledge in Linux OS and device drivers.
• Experience in developing tools using shell scripts or Python.
• Project experience in a multi-national environment, using English and Japanese.

Preferred qualification:

•  
• Experience in log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Programming in C language.
• Knowledge in low-power design (e.g., BIOS configuration).
• Experience in server benchmarking.
• Knowledge in cloud platforms, such as OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Languages:

• English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese business level (N2)
