The Role

The Team Lead, Talent Acquisition operates as a strategic partner to the business, working across functional teams to drive OSI’s recruiting function forward. This role combines hands-on recruitment with leadership responsibilities, ensuring effective recruitment practices are applied globally. The Team Lead is responsible for crafting OSI’s global recruitment strategy, while guiding and mentoring a small team of recruiters.

What you will do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain talent acquisition and sourcing strategies to support current and future business needs.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of recruiters in Canada and the EU, ensuring alignment with OSI’s global recruitment priorities and delivering high-quality hires.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities to attract and present a pool of qualified candidates for consideration, in a highly technical and international environment.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert: provide training in effective behavioral interviews, coach hiring teams on best practices, and guide candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support hiring managers in determining selection criteria, preparing job postings, processing approvals, posting jobs, screening resumes, interviewing applicants, and coordinating candidate testing.
  • Act as a talent ambassador and ensure a positive recruitment experience for internal stakeholders as well as candidates.
  • Build and manage pipelines of active and passive candidates across multiple global markets, proactively engaging with talent in Canada, the EU, and other regions.
  • Build and maintain an effective talent acquisition and social marketing strategy to position OSI as an employer of choice.
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics, leveraging Excel and other tools to provide insights and identify areas for improvement.
  • Select and manage recruitment vendors such as employment agencies, universities, and industry associations.
  • Attend and coordinate participation in career fairs and other networking/candidate sourcing events.
  • Monitor and measure recruitment results against Key Performance Indicators, ensuring accountability within the team.
  • Actively identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement.
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion are embedded at each stage of the recruitment process

What you will bring

  • 7+ years’ experience; recruiting in a fast-paced technology field
  • Excellent MS Office skills especially with Word and Excel
  • Experience with reporting & metrics to achieve a data driven recruitment function
  • Experience using Ceridian Dayforce is an advantage
  • Experience recruiting in other countries, namely the UK, Germany, India, Taiwan, and Australia is considered an asset.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and judgment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and be flexible
  • Required to obtain security clearance
