What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in the security industry, with 3+ years in management.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience coaching diverse teams.
  • Associate degree in Security Management, Business Management, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, incident management software).
  • Excellent communication in both English and Japanese (business-proficient).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10%).
  • Comfortable working evenings or weekends if required.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Facilities Manager to lead a team of security professionals at a major datacenter site. You’ll manage day-to-day security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment, while building a high-performing team. This role reports to the Campus Security Manager and works closely with other Facility Managers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and manage site-based security officers, responders, and control room staff.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop team members in partnership with the local branch.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and audit standards.
  • Act as a responder or control room supervisor when needed.
  • Monitor and maintain on-site security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
  • Track performance metrics and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Handle documentation, incident reports, and client communications.
  • Support audits, inspections, and safety reviews.
  • Act as the point of contact for the site in the CSM’s absence.
  • Identify and address potential safety or security issues.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in business operations.
  • Must be able to speak local language and English at a business proficient level.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a datacenter or with security technologies (CCTV, access control) is a plus.
  • Customer service mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
